Garrett turbo identities and spec help

a buddy of mine has a garrett turbo i believe its the m24 which im pretty sure is a t28 BB turbo if I am not mistaken. My question is does the t28 bb turbo use the same compressor wheel as a gt28rs? Reason I ask is because my wheel is chewed up a bit and it needs to be replaced with a new wheel and I was wondering if this wheel would fit and perform properly in my 28rs.

i didnt think it was possible to do but I had to know I really dont wanna spend close to 800 dollars to get the turbo rebuilt when a new one is only a few hundred more

yea dbb chra's are so expensive, its almost always new turbo time

BTW, the T28 is not a ball bearing turbo, IIRC it is a sleeve bearing.
gt28 is the ball bearing.

yea but the op has a 28rs, he just wanted to swap wheels
