vagcom bonuses???

with the vagcom mods, what does bonus 1 and bonus 2 actually do?

**Bonus 1** Enable Dashboard Headlight Indicator
Module 17 (Instruments), recode to ??###, where ?? = [existing 2 digit value - 2]

is there an icon that lights up when i turn on my headlights?

**Bonus 2** Trip Computer Fuel Consumption Correction Factor
Module 17 (Instruments), Adaptation channel 03
- Affects: Instantaneous Fuel Consumption, Average Fuel Consumption, Range, & Distance to Empty
- Default: 100%
- Range of values: 85 – 115%

i'm guessing this mod will update the factor instantaneously instead of 33 yards of travel?

and with bonus 3

**Bonus 3** Disable Auto-Lock
Module 46 (Central Convienence), recode to [existing value - 32]

i don't have auto-lock on mine, so how would i enable it?

3, when you drive it will no longer lock the car after you start to drive
other 2 no clue

oh ok, i thought it's when you leave the car, it should autolock.

I think to enable it you add 32, to be honest when I did the window trick it removed the auto lock =\

1, Yes there is a light that will illuminate when your lights are on. 2, That adjusts your Average MPG calculator that appears in the display in the gauge cluster. By adjusting the percentage you can get it closer to accurate by changing it and tracking your MPG manually and comparing that to the cars estimate. Then you just adjust it based on what you have calculated as the difference. 3, what Quattro said is correct.
