car was running fine. suddenly after work it decided not to start. It would crank, fine but no start.
Had the car jumped just to check easiest fix (battery), it started fine after that. figured it was a bad battery, took it to get it checked, battery checks out fine, alternator checks out fine.
There are no check engine lights, but still decided to scan with OBDII scanner, no codes were pulled.
Fuel pump sounds fine, only "strange" thing I could hear is a clicking coming from the right hand side when the car was cranking.
Could it still be coolant temp sensor or ignition even though there were no codes?
Does VAG pull codes an OBDII scanner will not?
Any ideas what the next step would be?
