Ok so I don't feel like spending money on an integration kit and i'm pretty electronically inclined. I'm trying to figure out what the acronyms on the symphony pinout are for. Take a look at the diagram (ignore the red, look at what's circled in green).

So I already figured out the right, left, and ground signals, but which of these other signals is usable with the ipod? Is there a signal i can connect with the ipod data signal to change songs, etc?

dotn think you would be able to control the ipod without an adapter to integrated it to the cd plater controls. Spend the $50 and get a dension, so much easier imo. If you are really up to it id integrate the ipod controls into the display stalk.

I'm pretty sure you can. I'm thinking the DI is data in and DO is data out but i'm not sure.

Now i also have to figure out on my ipod interface out of blue, white, green, and yellow, which is data out, in, and r & l signal.
