Audi RS8 V10 Twin Turbo Confirmed???

It would come as no surprise to me if this is a repost so if it is I apologize in advance. Anyway, according to this article from SpeedTV it appears Audi has solved the cooling issues they had with the original twin turbo V10 R8 by using concepts from the v12 turbo diesel. So, if this is true the RS8 could potentially be a tuner's dream. Let's just hope there's some headroom left in the cooling system

Did you try reading the article from where you took the pics out of?

Im guessing you did not, because they do not mention any turbos, or TFSI technology, or anything on that subject. So, I am pretty confident that I can assume that the car in the pictures is the normally aspirated 5.2L V10 FSI found in both the S6 and S8, not the V10TT TFSI found in the RS6.

But today, we received the most definitive proof yet; engine-bay shots and a video of a white prototype shot in Florida. According to members of AudiWorld, a few V10 mules have been handed out to current, and supposedly trustworthy, R8 owners for evaluation, sporting oval exhaust pipes and a revised fascia. While that's a rather unconventional move on Audi's part, it's proof that the automaker is getting ready to launch the new RS8 (or R10) in the near future.

Ok, after some research it still seems a bit unclear whether Audi will go with the V10 or V10TT or maybe even both. I guess we will find out when the car goes into production, because Audi has changed their mind about the next R8 a million times... First saying that the next R8 will feature a V10TT, then they said it would have a N/A V10. They are also changing their minds about the V12 TDI, saying at first that it will be the upper level model of the R8, but then saying that they will not go through with it, and now news came out that they will go ahead and put it into production.

So, I am going to hope for the best that all these three engines for the R8 come out. But as for those pictures, the article never said anything about any turbos and it did mention a V10 (which to me would be a N/A motor).
