Wil b7 seat+airbag fit b6

Hi

My B6 is a non-sport one with heat and manual seats. I plan on replacing with b7 power and heat + sport pack seats. I know there are wiring involved.

My main concern are - will the seats airbag still functional - is the sport pack seat vs nonsport seat different ?

good question! a number of folks had airbag issues when installing b7 steering wheels. i'd guess that the seats will face similar challenges, but have no first hand experience to support that.

As far as I know, the only seats that would be problematic out of a B7 would be the Euro spec B7 RS4 seats, which are basically Recaro CS models. As for the rest, they should bolt right in, and I believe they share the same type of single stage airbags. The steering wheel problem was because the B7 wheels have a dual stage airbag, while the B6 does not. So you have to disable one stage of the airbag. I don't think that is true with the seats.
