But are commonly called the LM reps. Maybe it's just me but these do not look the same.

If anyone has better pictures to compare the that would be great.

    vs.

This isnt about replicas vs. the real things, im pretty sure everyone reading this doesnt care if YOU think it's cheap and lame to buy reps.

But i would like to hear from ppl who own the wheels, either ones, and to get your opinion on how they actually look, and fit cause ive heard that's a hassle

the replica is ever so slightly more angular as far as i can tell.

other than that, if they're strong/light, who the hell cares if its real or not?

They are a direct replica, I saw real vs rep in person and its almost exact in regards to shape.

If you are going to buy any rep wheels or anything similar, go to a reputable place like Hartmann Wheels. Otherwise, good luck with service after the sale.

I've seen those in person and I would agree, there is something about them that doesn't look exactly right.

I think the spokes are wider on the ATL ones.

Re: ALT 279's DONT look like LM's

I think the angles/transitions on the reps are a little harsher, more rounded on the actual BBS.

the rim has two shapes if you look at it, there's a "Y" and "U", on the reps, the Y is wider on top and the two "legs" of the U bend in together at the top, whereas they are _almost_ parallel on the BBS wheel.

still could be partially lighting playing the trick though.

So i took this picture from somebody's for sale thread, but you see that the "Y" is wider and the "U" different as well. I guess you really need a side by side to compare both

The angles of the reps are softer than those. Those have a sharper angle .
