Introducing Myself

Hi everyone... I'm Mike from CT and I bought a silver 03 A4 last Friday. It's from Carmax in Florida so it's on the way up and will be here somewhere around the 18th.

I've already purchased
- RS4 Plus Bumper
- FMIC
- Intake
- Stage 1+
- ECS Vent Boost Gauge
- LED Tail lights from ECS (not even totally sure.. my friend [with a Stage 2.5 s4] picked them out while I was ordering stuff)
- Diverter
- 19" wheels
- Springs

I think that's it..... but I'm looking forward to getting my car and having it be stock for less than 1 hour

Whats on your agenda for upgrades?

Well straight off the lot it's going to a local shop that does the Stage 1+ reflash, then my friend and I will take our time and install the upgrades that will be delivered over the nxt few weeks. The bumper will be delivered by next week so I'll have it painted so when we get to the front mount I can just replace the stock bumper with the RS4+

it wasn't my first choice but the other ones I liked were discontinued. I do like this one though... Im going to remove the crap in the fog light areas for a bit cleaner look. I think the car pictured has a little much going on with the chrome and the eyelines

Can't wait to actually see this bumper, I like when people try something different. You'll get shitted on for doing that on AZ, even though nobody's seen one in perosn.

Interesting... didn't realize this was one of "those" bumpers. I think it will look nice especially with a FMIC.

I'm not really too concerned with what anyone else thinks about it... I really like it but I do understand that certain things become taboo on forums. I think it's pretty cool that I'll be original with this bumper though

hmmmm i cant decide on my feelings for that bumper...

i need to see it on a car that doesnt look like ass otherwise hahaha. (no eyelids... ugly chrome wheels... etc etc)

if it comes with that euro plate cutout make sure you find some type of filler plate for it, i think that'll help clean it up a lot.

While your bumper is out for pain you should get the plate recess filled. Might help with a little bit of the business.

I'm taking it to a shop that builds extremely fast cars but also does a ton of restoration and painting so I'm confident they'll match it properly. As for that that plate recess I'll definitely have it filled... I'm not too crazy about having a euro plate on the front. I prefer it clean

Can we get Capt.Obvious on here to say something like "Holy modding madness batman! look at all those mods purchased at the same time!" Otherwise, I'll say it for him, lol. Damn. At that rate, your car may actually eventually be "done".

Also, I hope you got shocks along with those springs.... otherwise you're gonna need them. Unless you get coilovers, or you have a sport suspension, but even on an A4 sport suspension you'll "eventually" need sport shocks, but on a stock suspension, you'll need them basically right away.

Edit: As for the bumper, I like.
