JHM Short Shifter Install Pricing

Let me start by saying I'd love to do it myself, and I'm fairly certain I could do it. That said, I'm busy!

So I'm going to take it to a local shop that I've been to before. What should I be expecting for install time? 1/2 hour? 1 hour? Curious to hear what people have been charged..... Also, anything specific on the JHM install I should tell the shop?

I think most people do it themselves. I would say an hour.

call the local shops and ask how much they will charge for installing SS.

No more than an hour. I think someone asked this before.
One response was "if it takes them more than an hour, find a new mechanic." Or something along those lines.

I installed my ssk in my garage. Took about an hour and a half, I had all the recommended tools. Never done anything like that before, so a shop should definitely be able to do it in less time.

read the DIY guide to see who long it would take. based on the write ups there is tweaking needed so you might spend more time going back to shop to have them tweak it.
