need help: Startup racing Vogtland GT's vs. PureMS Regular Vogtlands

i have searched the threads but still could use your expert opinions:
ok so i'm ordering vogtland's for my avant this week. the startup racing GT kit is $150 more than the PureMS regular kit. the GT's are not rebound adjustable, can't tell if the PureMS ones are from the website. however, this is a daily driver for me, so as long as the GT's are comfortable enough for that, rebound adjustment doesn't matter too much to me. spring rates are listed on the GT's, but not the PureMS.

Should i pay the $150 for the GT's or get the regular ones? or, is there anywhere cheaper? i've seen in posts that they go for closer to $1000 sometimes. remember, this is a daily driver... thanks in advance.

also, they both say in stock on the web, but i've heard differently in recent threads on here. anyone heard anything about this?

Re: need help: Startup racing Vogtland GT's vs. PureMS Regular Vogtlands

if you search on AW you will find Thomaz (startup) talking about his kit. The GT's are about 10-12% stiffer spring rates than the regular Vogtlands and vogtland re-valved them to work with the increased spring rates.

If you are not tracking the car the regular Vogtlands from Mike at PureMS are great daily driver setup. That are firmer than the the STaSIS StreetSports but very well balanced.

    hope that helps

this does help, thanks EBG! i do use the search a lot but I had a hard time searching for GT and also have a hard time searching for 3.0 stuff b/c those terms are too short for the search engine to use....

use double quotes next time when you search. i.e. enter "Vogtland GT" or "Vogtland GT's".
