Hella fog lights?

I want to install the Hella micro de foglights in my 02 S4 and I was wondering what the oe foglights wattage was 35watts? Since the hella's i believe are also 35 w could I reuse the factory wiring and just change the plug to input into the hella foglights?

The stock fogs are 55w and so are the Hellas. Stock uses an H7 bulb which is more efficient than the H3 the Micro DE uses, so they should be brighter slightly... But the Micro DE is actually useful as a fog light, where the stockers are pretty much useless and just randomly scatter light everywhere. Unless maybe you are talking about getting the Micro DE driving lights, which are D2S I believe...

Sounds like I should be ok then since they are both the same wattage. I really want foglights not another driving light. My ecodes with city lights work great.
