Anyone pony up the big bucks for the newish Thule Boxster?? That would be sweet. My aero feet whistle with just the bars on too. Any ideas on fixing? Is it a bar location issue? I have my feet mounted directly in between the set of dimples on the inside of the Audi rails.
I want to see an '07 S4 Avant in shiny silver with a Thule box and stock wheels! Who here has that combo??

I dont know if there are any boxes that can fit even 1 bike. Id say go with a bike tray.

I didn't really word that correctly. I meant still having room on each side of the box for a couple of bikes similar to this...

any box should work with two bikes as long as you get bars long enough. heres mine. thule evolution 1600 with two bikes. I put both bikes on one side though, so I can open the box and have access to my stuff while the bikes are still on the roof.

That's what i'm looking to do... it looks great. I personally like the look of the box in the middle a little better, but for all intents and purposes, you're right. It makes more sense to put it on one side to access the box.

..though most new boxes can be opened from either side, which can be very handy! Or yeah, just get bars long enough to add whichever accessories you need, and you can slide the box back to the middle when the bikes are off. Just watch your head on the longer bars! Recommend finding a good shop that sells racks to test your needs in person before purchasing.

Yes! paint the top of the box denim blue to match and leave the bottom the black color.

I think it looks OK. But my box is actually faux "carbon fiber" and I love the way it looks. Be a shame to paint over it.

I have the old yakima space case in white on my car. Top is white and bottom is gray. I'll find some photos tonight to post up. I think it looks good with the denim blue.

All good! I grew up there actually, and had a friend who was in Yellowstone not long ago in a B6 Avant that was similar to yours! Go figure!

Tahoe is awsome! I spent 2 weeks out there snowboarding a few years back. Kirkwood is the shit!
