Thanks! Yeah it sure does, blacking out the trim really draws attention to the rest of the car (esp. on dark colored cars)

COOL. I have a Moro blue B6 and I have been wondering if I was just limited to bright silver wheels. It is really cool to see an example with dark wheels come out so well. I really like your car. I think it would take doing what you did... by blacking out the trim to pull it off but I think it works great. I have been looking at wheels and really didnt want to go hyper silver (to match polished trim). I now believe I have options. Well done, and Thanks for posting.

12+ inches in town with around 10 at the mountain after the storm finished up last night. Today; bluebird sky, no lines at the mountain, little wind, and temps in the single digits. Magically caught a cold overnight *cough, cough* and had to call in sick.

Couldn't have asked for anything better.

The only good thing about Winter is Quattro, skiing / boarding and that track days are soon to be.

Class is a lot easier to skip out of than work, must admit I might have done that more than I should have when I was in college. Was only the second day out on my fat skis and between that and the snow i felt it early. With another storm expected this weekend or early next week I'm sure those Volkls will be seeing some snow soon (or at least I hope so!)

Hey man there's a lot more to like in the winter. I love the cold temps, snow, pond hockey, more whiskey than other seasons, and being able to see the sunrise and sunset every day just to name a few. Here in VT, and I'm sure it's the same in Toronto, you have to be pumped about the winter or I can imagine it'll get seriously depressing.

Back to cars, S4 was a blast today. Left early enough where the plows hadn't fully cleared all the roads yet. Took the back way and had anywhere between 1-3" of snow for the whole drive through mountain switchbacks. Couldn't take the smile off my face all day.

Thanks for the kind words and get out and enjoy that Quattro.

Update: Miro 111's 18x9.5 40et with 5mm spacers in the rear and 034 Motorsports stud conversion all around. Static on KW V3 coilovers ftw.

Thanks! just 235/40 tires. I think they look better than the CCW classics and for $850 shipped how can I complain. Fifteen52 sold them to me and they just happen to have 57.1 centerbore which I didn't know was possible with Miro 111's in 18x9.5. They also don't feel as heavy as the OEM wheels either.

Badass!...gives the illusion of wider tires and I always preferred not to run hub centric rings (just rides better).
From looking at your pictures I now need to adjust my lip again (why did I put in all 80 screws )...looks great!

From looking at your pictures I now need to adjust my lip again (why did I put in all 80 screws )...looks great!
Haha! Yep! Seems to work pretty good, still corners perfectly. I think I put in like 12 screws in the Cupra R lip. Basically put it on a lift so I could look at it from eye level and make sure it was even as possible, also shaved down the ends to help keep it level and out of the wheel well area. Also shaved down the two center tabs.
