When they get low? I took my car to a dealership (I know) for extended warranty work for an oil leak, which turned out to be the cam adjuster seals, and a transmission fluid leak. Why would they call and tell me I am in dire need of new brake pads and rotors? I didn't ask them to check that out. I am sure it is a standard practice that they look at wear items (brakes, tires) and hope the customer will think, gosh, you had better take care of it while you are at it. But I would think if I need brakes I would either get the sensor warning, or I would get the little prong screeching the disc. Any thoughts?
