Brown has been busy at my house

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

Lots of boxes have been dropped off over the past few weeks...

Lots and lots of detailing from DetailersDomain.com:

New set of front brake pads (DS2500):

    Fresh supply of brake fluid:

034 Motorsport Street Density motor mounts and Track Density transmission mount:

Replacement rotor rings for my Stoptech BBK (current ones are heat cracked):

034 Motorsport high flow exhaust manifold (ceramic coated):

Currently waiting for my suspension (Bilstein PSS9) and timing belt kit to arrive before the fun begins!

Also have the Cupra R front lip spoiler (in the large box) that will go on after I get the lower bumper repainted from winter snow plowing.

Re: Brown has been busy at my house

I ordered the mounts directly from 034 Motorsport.... about one month before they started the GB.

Got word the suspension should come on tomorrow. Might be getting all of this done in the next week or so.

Yeah. Just now getting to it after 120k miles on the OEM Sport suspension. The original suspension has held up really well considering the bad road conditions and the track time. This is only after the 3rd year of ownership.

The Sport suspension sat well for the rear, but needs to be dropped in front. All will be much better in a few weeks. Need to go clean the summer wheels and get them ready!

Nothing like taking the box cutter or key to the packaging tape :). I know on the Mac forums they ALWAYS have the ALMIGHTY UNBOXING post/ ritual. Glad to know its here too :). I love NEW STUFF; I am a shitty american consumer in a time when i should be putting pennies in jars... and I LOVE IT!

Re: Brown has been busy at my house

Ps21 Wheel Clearner + 1Z Polishes-PC+ Black Wow+Grit Guard= Awesome! I recommend you order different polishing pads if you are looking to remove any swirls or scratches from you car. Audis have super hard clear coats and with a PC, it will take quite a long time to remove defects. But you couldnt be any happier with what you got! 1Z Polishes are very user friendly and combined with a PC your good to go!

P.S. with Black Wow...USE VERY LITTLE! If you use alot, it will bleed onto your paint if it gets wet.

    Goodluck!

Thanks for the info! This is my first time trying a machine to do the polishing/sealing/waxing. I also see that you're local. We'll have to meet up sometime and compare notes.
