Anyone ever try this HID Kit?

My A4 comes with OEM Xenons however I ordered some 3000K for the fogs and they shipped from CA I hear VVME charges you like $20-30 for the 3000K and I expect it's nothing more then yellow color film over the bulb (mine might be as well) but I don't have to pay extra for it.

all "kits" are the same... most now use the same exact ballasts (just with different stickers on them)

How the hell is shipping 50 bucks? I paid 90 to ship four rims much less to ship a at most 5lb box.

Its all just a manipulation of eBay's fee system. They don't tax you on shipping and handling, but on the actual product price, and if you are doing large volumes of items, that can add up very fast. I just ordered a set of VVME 6k HIDs last week and am waiting on them to arrive.

I know everyone here like the VVUME kit but this shipped from CA and and it arrived here before the week was out and I did not need to spend the extra $20 or whatever just to get 3000K fogs..

in the meantime I will break both bulbs in for an hour.. it's friken bright.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only geek who has tried this. Thought I was the only one.

:D I always get called a geek... I wonder how many amps it uses on start up since that was a Antec 350W PS with 16A max on the 12V+ rail. never skipped a beat at all.

I used one of my computer power supplies to power up my old sony head unit to test it out. Worked great. Love any excuse to hook a computer to a car.

They are pretty much all the same kits. Only thing for me is I did not have to pay extra to get 3000K bulbs.
