    Adapters with Spacers

Is running spacers with adapters a bad idea? I am putting some 17" Porsche wheels on my B6 A4. 52mm offset with 25 mm adapters. If I wanted another 5-10mm to flush the wheel out with the fender, could I add spacers without issue?

I guess if the spacers and the adapters are both hub centric it may work, but that's alot of added metal between the wheel and car. I'd recommend against it.

    ^ agreed

Running adaptors + spacers leaves alot of stuff between the hub of the car and the wheel. I would personally look for a 35mm adaptor, they are out there and that way you have less moving parts in between the two surfaces

Iv seen people at the track run spacers larger then a 25mm and havnt had a problem. I personally wouldn't do it. I don't like the feeling of knowing my wheels are spaced that far away from my hub and possibly causing damage to wheel bearings.

The retailer that I am getting my adapters from only has 20 and 25mm adapters.. I'll look around for some different sizes.

    Thanks for the input!
