    Re: fender rolling??

I had the same problem in the front. I removed the two screws that hold the fender liner to the fender and the front doesn't rub anymore. Jack the car up and look at the top of the arch of the wheel well and that should fix your problem. Rear I don't think there is anything you can do.

    I have 19x8's with a ET30 offset.

    Hope this helps

depending how large the problem is... most of the time fender rolling cures a lot of rubbing issues. Post your wheel and tire specs.

Cut the liner where it's rubbing.

To the thread starter: My front fenders are rolled . Nothing like a rub-free world!

    Re: fender rolling??

i went to my local shop and they came in the car with me and they said it sounded like the carpet was rubbing so im either going to trim or take it out all together i understand this will make the ride a little louder when going over bumps since the carpets are made for sound insulation anyone here have their carpet removed?

haha.. thx guys!! I finally rolled my front fenders with displacing the little screws on top of it.
    now my fronts are rub-free.
as for my rear, i cut 1/4 part of the outer fender liner.
the rear left is now rub free.
However, the rear right kinda rubs sometimes when i hit a big bump .
Should i cut more parts of the liner on my rear right?
    what do you guys think??

    I have a 245/35/19 on a 35 offset rear wheel.

    thnx again guys!!!!

    Re: fender rolling??

I'm running 235/35/19, 35 offset, 25" rear fender height, no rubbing.

A little bit of negative camber helps too if you don't want to replace them with 235/35 tires.

I would definitely change tires to 235/35 though, for realness.

    Re: fender rolling??

yeah i know i should have used 235 all around..
    as for my mistake..
besides chamber, is there anything else i can do??

I am now running with neuspeed race springs with 2" drop.
but my shocks are still factory.
I am planning on getting a bilstein shock soon..
will changing the shocks make a difference in terms of car-bouncing ??
maybe a stiffer shock could reduce rubbing issue??
i'm not sure so if anyone can put in their opinions??

if yes, maybe anyone knows a specifc brand of shock people usually use to reduce rub-issues??

    thx again!

    Re: fender rolling??

Sport shocks could definitely stiffen the travel of your tires and could help with rubbing issues. But I honestly think that you should still change your tires to 235/35.

At some point you are going to have to replace your stock shocks to sport shocks.

    Re: fender rolling??

I was rolling in the rear LIKE CRAYZ! with 255/30/19 +27 offset, I did a - 2.2 camber, so I rub if its loaded, with me only or me + Gf, it does not rub..
