    Re: FMIC piping Q's

2" is the normal size for a K03/K04 and even a stage 3 size turbo but 2.25" wont be too large. A 2.5" isn't really needed till you get up to a BAT size turbo or using this size for the cold side for a BT setup. Basic rule of thumb is to use the same size hot side IC pipe as the outlet of the turbo and a cold side pipe the same size or 1/4" larger. Really want to use the smallest size pipe possible to keep velocity up without maxing out the flow which is mach 1 for any size pipe.

    Re: FMIC piping Q's

I went against what everyone told me to try something different. Used a 2.5" charge pipe (turbo to IC) and 3" IC to TB. Quickened the spool a bit on my 3071R and gave the car a bit of a torque spike over my previous 2.25" all the way around setup!
