    Advice Please

So I get my 04 USP from Donohoo auto. It comes with a brake light out, a check engine light, and absolutely bald tires. I take it to audi for an inspection and this is what they find out. The check engine light was just some misfires and probably a maf, but it has been in an accident. Whoever tried to patch it up did a crappy job. Audi said if there is no frame damage, it will be at least a grand to fix. I need a new fender, and a bunch of stuff behind the bumper. Everything was pushed over to the right from the accident. There is also a small dent in the hood and another one in the fender. Donohoo is trying to say that in the ebay auction because it said previous paint work has been done that its not his problem...What should I do about this??

I was about to say... "isn't that the EBAY company from Texas?" I was considering picking up an Avant from them cause they were the only place that had any within my reach.. I dunno about that now!

    Re: Advice Please

sucks man i just bought my avant on ebay from global motorsports in TN,(i live in philly) and on the drive home a coil pack went. i didn't know about this common audi problem at the time so I called Global MS and flipped out on the guy about my Audi with >35k on it breaking down the day I bought it and his take was 'used car, buyer beware' before he even knew what the issue was! luckilly for me it was not as bad as your situation but like Zorfunk^^^ said, if donohoo won't help you out, which i'm sure they will do everything they can not to help, I would check with someone like the better business bureau or other state agency to see what you can do about the false advertising or crappy condition of the car. not sure exactly how the lemon law works on used cars...... good luck...

    Re: Advice Please

Doesn't Ebay offer some sort of protection against this kind of crap? Sorry, but I would never buy a car I couldn't see and inspect prior to sale, no matter how rare...

2nd on the BBB, but for the most leverage, consult the law. Maybe also whoever you financed through. Maybe they could help you in the dispute similar to a credit card company in cases of disputes.

    Re: Advice Please

I called and spoke with someone else today. He wants to have someone else, other than the certified audi dealership that I took it to look at the damage, as if audi was wrong...He is offering to pay for someone else to tell if the frame is damaged. He said I should speak to Jay, the manager and gave me his number and said he would be expecting my call. Immediately after I get off the phone from this guy, I call the number. "Jay has just stepped out of the office" hmm...I tell the girl to have him call me back. He hasn't called. They know they're fucked. I will see about contacting the authorities and what can be done about this. Thanks for the help guys
