Anyone else's ASP exhaust hang this low?

Both the muffler and the front section look like they hang much lower than they should. How does this compare with everyone else's?
From what Ive seen and heard it sounds like a really tight fitting system.

There is about a 72mm gap between the front section and the heat shields...

ya you need to loosen the clamps... and push the sucker up.

hold it in place, and retighten.

But they do hang lower than stock for sure.

Re: Anyone else's ASP exhaust hang this low?

yep, muffler hangers are in which is was my first thought that they may be worn and hanging lower than normal, but even if I try to lift up on the tips its really hard to get it to move up at all. So I think that a new hanger wont do anything, even though I went ahead and ordered another right rear one from the dealer, but not sure if im going to pick it up.

Bastard, I've tried lifting up on the pipes with only the DP clamps lose, but that didnt do much. Ill give it another shot when I get the chance. Why do the ASP directions say pull down on the pipes with you are tightening them?

OK the first picture is youra, and the second two are mine. I woudl first inspect the hanger to make sure it is on there correctly. IF it is and if you replace it with a new one and it still sits like that then this is what i'm thinking.

In your pic it loks like the matal bar thats welded to the exhaust is to high. You need to have it placed lower. I was looking at mine and its actualy coming from the botom upwards. SO this is prob your problem. Just go to an exhaust shop and have them grinf it off and weld a new piece on there.
