    podi wont light up

So my scratch and ding podi is installed and working great...except that i cannot get it to light up. I tried using the "no cut" wire taps for 14 - 16 gauge wire and it didnt work. I think the headlight switch wiring is too small. I had to use some primary wire to reach the headlight switch but i dont think thats where my problem lies. Is there a better way to tap into it?? How about cutting the headlight and ground wire then twist them up and tape em up??? Im really close to trying it. I wanna see thos thing at night!! Open to input.

try to use the wire tap again. you have to squeeze REALLY hard. i used small vice grips on mine, and squeezed the shit out of it. worked great.

    Re: podi wont light up

I thought my taps where bad too, but it ended up that one of the red bulb's wires were broken off and it was loose in the connecter as well. So I tried the white bulb, it worked just fine and seated properly. Dont know if this will help.

Test it by touching the gauge wires directly to the car's battery. White to positive, black to negative. If it lights up, your taps need work.

    Re: podi wont light up

    1) Check to make sure the taps cut through the headlight wire insulation
    2) Make sure the LED is in the right way. If it doesn't light up try reinstalling the bulb the other way as it is polarized.
