    Question Need some help...

Hey everyone! I'm looking to get either XM or Sirius for my 08 A4 that is already pre-wired for Sirius. I'm in the car almost 3 hours/day commuting and the radio isn't cutting it anymore.

My question is, if I get a XM receiver, will I be able to just plug it, activate and be good to go? TIA

Also interested in either receiver unit if anyone has them for sale.

Does it matter what letter is at the end of this part #: 8E0 035 593 _

    Thanks again for the help.

Depending on your programming preferences.. I drive/ride in lots of cars with Sat Radio these days, and personally, I prefer Sirius. I find their station categories more logical. I'm sure many will say the other thing too. If it's pre-wired for Sirius, by all means get it! Make it easy.

I second Sirius, but I'm one sided because that is the only Sat radio I have used before.

To answer your question, you need to have the unit wired to the radio unit so it plays through the speakers, to my knowledge.
