15-16psi Hesitation????

Everytime I hit 15-16psi the car studders and hesitates. It will hold the boost there and flutter but you can hear it and feel it struggling. The car is not pulling either when this happens? I am Stg2+ running the new GIAC file and upgraded to the Hitachi sensor as well. If the car is in stock mode it is totally fine and runs good. I logged 115 and the car is getting more boost than it was requesting. My old turboed golf used to do this when the plugs fouled so I changed them as well and it didn't fix the problem but did get rid of some misfires that were happening on Cylinder #2.

sounds like a boost leak, do you have a compressor and a pressure testing device put together? it could be that there is a leak and the turbo is trying to compensate. since you're an 00 you should check the F hose, take off the front engine cover look near diverter valves make sure everything is tight on there.

could be a throttle cut as well.. Mine did that for a while when I got my APR chip. a TCD from VAST might solve the problem

I would put the caps on those splitters. The engine management system wasn't designed for BOV's or any variation of them.

Also, judging by the fluttering boost as well as the over-boosting that you are experiencing, I would suggest replacing the N75 and testing the air lines that go to it.

+1. N75 and no BOV variations. Check there first.

Ok so I put my stock DVs in and it made no difference in the hesitation but the fluttering is a bit better. I will check the lines today for leaks we may have missed some because the splitters were leaking pretty bad when we did the test. I don't have an Audi dealership here so what VW N75 will work for my car?
