    Re: Removing Stock Intake...

if ur talking about the snorkel and it being attached to the MAF sensor part then after u remove that black clip thing (slide it down on the snorkel) then u gotta wiggle it a bit and the MAF + black box should detach from the snorkel then there is 2 screws connecting the MAF sensor part to the black box that has to be removed to get rid of the black box OEM set up.

    p.s.
search heat shield i forgot who posted it but there is pix that can help you to get a visual on what im talking about also look up BSR intake for audi a4 on google and then use their installation guide for further clarification.

Ya...there are two screws that are located at the very front of the "intake." I'd say they're located around the front edge of the engine bay. Follow the plastic top of the intake to the front of the car.

I don't know man... If you can't look around with a flashlight to find a few screws, I may have to recommend that you leave it as it is

    Re: Removing Stock Intake...

chk the evoms intake install instructions as someone linked above.

You're probably stuck on the part where you pull the intake box straight up (two studs on the bottom of the intake box "plug" into the chassis grommets).

Of course make sure that the snorkel, maf harness, etc are no longer holding it down.

    good luck
