It sounds legit, but I'd rather keep my oem bulbs. Yellowish light doesn't attract as much attention, plus those LED's would make it easier to read my license plate when I'm carrying out heists and bank robberies resulting in high speed chases.
    Ignorance is bliss.

not worth it. 90% of people who do this strip the screws. then 100% of people get the bulb out indicators. 70% dont work.

    not worth it trust me.

Re: Guys... LED licensplate w/o error...

I installed LED plate lights the week after I bought my car back in August. Not a single problem since. I had to install load equalizers inline with the 5v feed but it wasn't a problem. The entire process took me about 20 minutes. They look great with no flickering and no error codes.

I can do a writeup if necessary. The festoon bulbs were purchased from an Automotive LED website--they also supplied the well made equalizers.

    Did that.

Didn't get this, but now I've noticed the plastic on the internal housing is melted a bit and the actual contacts keep displacing so I have to move them to make contact. I would have to agree that it's a pain in the ass and not really worth it. However, when they do work, the look sick!
