    b6 aftermarket exhaust

I just recently purchased a 04 a4 1.8t and i'm looking to do some modifications to it. The first thing i was looking into was exhaust. I've done some searching on youtube to decipher what sounds better to me and settled on the Magnaflow. I was curious as to whether anyone had this exhaust on a 1.8t and how it's performed for them. Any other suggestions for mods that should be put in place in conjunction with exhaust?

I would suggest doing a full turboback system with a HFC or a testpipe. There is a TON of info on here and AW about different setups.

    Re: b6 aftermarket exhaust

I just purchased my Neuspeed exhaust and I'm getting it installed tomorrow. I don't have a HFC or TP so I'm curious how it will sound. It is recommended to get one or the other to get the best performance out of the exhaust but it depends on your states emission laws. I might do a HFC later when I have the funds.

    Re: b6 aftermarket exhaust

I've been researching exhaust systems as well. What I have been leaning towards was either neuspeed or ghl. Sat. night I heard a magnaflow system w/ Resinators(???) and it sounded pretty good. There is nothing like hearing a something in person. My question is will a catback system on a vw 1.8t sound the same as on the b6?
