Engine shrugs at idle after long drive.

I'm running APR Stage 1+, big injectors, FMIC, exhaust, 710n.
Here's the issue. My car drives fine, no rough idle, no boost leak. But every time I get off the freeway on the way home or to work, I would be sitting at a light and there's this shrug that I feel from the engine, about once or twice in one stop light. It happens every time, after a long drive on the freeway. It doesn't happen when I'm on surface streets.

It's the same feeling as if you were to let go of the clutch and let the car die and then get back on the clutch to keep it from stalling (but slightly less shaking).

Anybody else have this issue or know what it could be?

    Thanks

^^ this happens to me it only happens when i just come to a stop idle rpm's go down and come right back up! it's completely normal, but i don't know for sure what is happenening to u, but check and see if ur injectors are seated properly, thats all i can think of!

You're right about the rpm's going down and back up again. I did notice that. I'll look at my injectors also. Thanks.

^^ best i can describe the feeling is, it feels like when u come to a stop and ur cars real hot the fan comes on for a few seconds dropping the rpm's then lifting them back up as soon as it shuts off!

I have not noticed this situation at all. It could be something as simple as the fans kicking on to cool things or it could just be the injectors reducing fuel too much since you have just stopped.

Try to see if there is a correlation with the fans kicking on and report back.

I can hear the fan but didn't think that could cause such a big movement in the engine bay. I'll stop by my buddy's shop and see what he thinks...

    I'll let you know. Thanks.
