I have a quartz grey A4 and i was looking for some shoes.. RS4 VMR in gunmetal
I saw that most people from this forum uses 235/35/19 but isn't that affecting in any way the performance/acceleration? I still don't know what to do.. i was thinking at 235/40/18.
    What do u guys think?

they look really nice but they are very heavy which does affect acceleration/braking. 18 will be slightly lighter but if you aren't dropped then 19 will fill the arches more

19" wheels look better, but 18" wheels are cheaper and lighter. Only by a few pounds though. I don't think you'll really notice a change in acceleration or anything though.
    Ignorance is bliss.

You will notice a loss in acceleration and a slight dip in mpg. But one, you bought a krautwagen, not a sports car, and two, you have to pay to play. Don't worry about it and get what looks good.

19" is going slow down acceleration and deceleration. But if your looking more towards performance, i would recommend going 18" and 235/40/18 tires.

Re: need advice on wheels !!

i have 19" gunmetal rs4 reps with general exclaim 235/35/19. before this i had the stock s-line 18's with the stock michelin's. i weighed them both and actually dropped a pound with the 19's because the generals are so light, obviously you'd lose more weight going with the 18's but for me the looks and negligible weight loss was more important, so don't get scared out of the 19's because people say theyre heavy, go with what you want
