    Hi.

Does anyone here have these size on their wheels? Any pics of it?

I dont want to hear that 19s are to big so I should have 18s instead...

I just want to see if anyone have mounted 8.5" (not 8")x19" with offset 35mm on a B5 And with 235/35-19....

    Pics would be great Thanks..

    Thanks for the pics. :)

I have bought 19's for my wife, and resprayed them in a special color.
We were lucky and got some used BBS CH 8.5" x 19" very cheap! I fixed them ready for paint and this was the result. My wife is very satisfied with her new rims :D

My fender liner is a little airy and fender lip rolling is almost a must.

Rears fit nice but fronts you have to roll the fenders. I had to cut back some of the plastic liner also. When I am going fast and hit a pick dip in the road I somtimes rub on the front but besides that no rubbing issues.

Yeah i've rolled my fenders also, has helped, maybe i should try get a little more out of them... How much did you do yours - heaps??? also what sort of gap do you have between bottom of fender and top of tire?
I was thinking of changing the front tires to a 215 as my 235's are worn through to the wire only after 3 months...

What is your ET? I think most who run this size aim for 35. audiluxary is right, no problem with the back end... any heavy dips and rub city upfront (for me).

My pic is the 1st one up top.. I have less than a finger space. I don't drive aggressively, otherwise, I would likely bump that up at least another 1/2 or full inch. I am too low for perf driving with this sizing. 19's aren't practical to do anything with competitively anyway... I would go much smaller for that (well, 17's or 18's).

I think 19's are too large for the B5 frame.

Yeah got a 35 offset. As you said the rears are sweet cos they can have the camber adjusted but the fronts cause the issues. by running 215's the tires actually can sit in the guard. What suspension you running coil overs?

All be it 19's are not the best choice - but they look bloody nice...

People have their prefs, and everyone will let you know their opinion regardless.

I have STaSIS StreetSport coilovers. They're soft, but these days I am only driving on street, so I am not going to blow my wad on a perf suspension for a while, just enjoying the cruising these days [high and low speed of course ;)]

I think next year I will finally get top track and autox it, with some 18's likely.

18's are the better way to go for fitting because you don't have to worry about rubbing and you can slam the car to the ground which is a +. I like the way 19's look though and I can slam my car down so I have no fender gaps and my car is still pretty high off the ground. Thanks for the compliment on the car. Looking at that picture now can someone please tell me the cheapest place to get RS4 lower bumper grills, thanks. I have 30 days off so I can finally put my FMIC on and do some other stuff, I just want to put some grill inserts in to make it look clean.

Audiluxary, RS4 lower bumper grilles won't fit your bumper.

No, I mean the RS4 style mesh. I have scene it before where you can buy a sheet of it and you cut it and can make it fit, unless you know somthing else that can be used. I want the thick plastic though not that cheap metal mesh crap.

I want the same mesh inserts that Peter 1.8t has on his RS4 bumper, that looks clean and will hide my FMIC once I install it.

    Ah, I understand now.

In my type 85 days, I used to buy Audi TT lower bumper grilles to cut up.

The largest one, (centre) was only about £13, so quite cheap.
    Proper plastic RS4-style mesh.
