Question Problem Found from Pressure Test.

Ok, I decided to install a couple 710N's today and thought it would be a good idea to do a pressure test as well to see if I had any boost leaks. I started the pressure test and immediately found a problem. There is a huge leak at the back of the intake manifold. I pulled off the Y-Pipe so I could get a better look and found that a hose barb had broken in half with one end still in the hose and the other end in the manifold. I was able to extract the end from the manifold and I guess I'll have to wait until Monday to get a replacement. My questions is what this hose is connected to and what it's purpose is? Has anyone else had this problem? Sorry for the picture quality, I had to use my phone. The part that the hose connects to is the silver thing towards the upper right of the last picture. Thanks.

yea.. look for the only "cloth" covered hose. That is the same hose that is spliced for boost gages.

what size is this hose? I found out mine is pretty loose on the pressure regulator.. it can wiggle around, probably not a good thing...

yeah thats right, dont wait OP to do that, just go to any autoparts store grab some 3mm and replace it. it doesnt have to be braided like that. ive replaced almost all my vacuum hoses on my car with new stuff.
