    Anyone here have Oettinger Stage 1 chip/exhaust in their cars? If you do, please post your thoughts here! I searched and couldn't find any helpful info. Thank you.

    i read over in the B7 forums of a place in Florida that was handling Oettinger software. Don't see the name around much here stateside.

    APR bought out Oettinger recently.

    IIRC, Oettinger was having major financial difficulty for several years. They were pretty much out of money towards the end of 2005. In 2006 APR stepped in to provide $$ to get Oettinger back on it's feet. APR now has a capital investment in Oettinger but they are still operated as seperate companies.

    This also provided APR access to a great dealer network in Europe and Oettinger is able to back on some of the technology that APR uses. Oettinger was one of the best tuners in Europe, always know for their top tier product and in alot of cases Audi/VW factory warrantied products.

    Lets hope that APR doesn't tarnish that image and that the 2 companies can collaborate to product us more top notch products in the coming years.
