shutters and no power

I was dropping off my girlfriend and the car was stumbling and not running well. It was almost stalling then the CEL started flashing went away, then came back. Also got a service engine light. I vagged these codes

3 Faults Found:
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 001 - Upper Limit Exceeded
16688 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P0304 - 001 - Please Register/Activate
17658 - Shareware Version. To Decode all DTCs
P1250 - 008 - Please Register/Activate

Coil packs, spark plugs (semi recent replacement), what else?? What else do i/can i check??

sounds like coils packs to me... did you change all coil packs recently?

looks like a software problem? i would check ur coilpacks, i changed all four and the week after 3 went out, i had a tore up engine wiring harness, so check them again!

The car has 50K on it and as far as i know the coilpacks have never been changed. I got the car with 38K on it. How long do they normally last? Wheres the cheapest place to get them?? Which ones do i get??
