    vagcom and boost question

ok, i did some logging today. i logged '115' and according to vagcom im running 22.6psi and according to my boostguage im running 27psi, boost leak maybe? i keep turning up the wick on my mbc and cant get anymore then 22psi but yet my boostguage goes higher and higher! im guessing vagcom is reading the boost levels at the MAP sensor correct? and my boost guage reads boost at the fpr correct? so where is the boost leak? ive pressure tested numerous times! i know i have a leak at my mechanical cam chain adjuster gasket but thats after the map sensor. so whats up. by the way i ran two 3.55 fats and two 3.6 fats runs today.

    Re: vagcom and boost question

You're running 27 psi. You're on K04's right? Turn that boost down! haha
As was mentioned, your MAP sensor can't read any higher than 2500mBar. You can run all the boost you want, you'll just have higher CF's and a richer mixture than if you ran a more reasonable pressure (22-23psi).

How is what possiable? That your ecu is trying to compensate as much as possiable? That your injectors from the awe kit and support the airflow of k04 @ 27psi?

Most tweaked stg 3s can run that on 21psi.

Manifolds don't do much, but if it ots software without tweaks then that's impressive/scary!

Cranking up the boost with a MBC means that it's not an OTS setup
