crappy mirrors!

anyone notice how crappy our rear view mirrors are, they are so small and can only see so much on it...backing up with those mirrors suck...and you cant say its because i suck at driving because i tow trucks and drive with trailers all the time, and im good at it too. just wondering if anyone else notices it...

hmm they are small but i never have too much trouble with parking. unless i'm trying to parallel park in NYC man its tight over there

My rear view mirror doesn't really bother me, but the rear windshield is fucking short! I thought it would be bigger since the A4 is a sedan, but the first time I test drove one I was like, "wtf the rear windshield is only like 1 foot tall" haha

Yeah I notice, when I get out of my CX-7(huge mirrors) and into the A4 they mirrors feel inadequate, you can see so little out of them, I usually get adjusted to them within five minutes so it's no big deal.

I like the size of them for looks and haven't had too much trouble parking. I like the auto dimming feature so much that its hard to hate the mirrors. I'm not a fan of the new audi mirrors because they seem over sized. It would be nice to have the passenger side mirror turn down and inward when backing up like some other cars (acuras). But other than that I'm happy with whats on the A4.

they do, turn your mirrorr adjuster to the right position when you reverse, and it will go down, then turn it bck to middle off position, when ur done and it goes up to normal spot.

Mine doesn't work... I checked fuse and it's OK. I'll have it checked with the first service.

The mirrors are small but you get used to it.

From MY07 on they didn't include that mirror function with any package.

I think the mirrors are just fine. I have never had a problem and I am probably driving in the tightest roads in the world. Italy also probably has the tightest parallel parking in the world. The spaces I fit in are less than a foot bigger than my car. I think the mirrors are quite comparable to my BMW and most other modern cars in this category.

x100 on the tiny rear winshield. at first i thought it was just me or that the back seat headrest were up too high or something, but backing up sure is annoying with that winshield.

The rear windshield is short, but I came from driving a TT for 2 years. Go drive one of those if you guys like blind spots

You have a 12" window to look out to the side, and since the c-pillar is so friggin huge you really can't check your blind spot. The rear view mirror was even smaller, and the rear windshield is about a foot high too. I got used to it of course and was awesome at it, but I did expect the A4 to have a high window in the rear. Oh well, I was already used to it

Its weird because i have an 07 Dodge Ram Quad Cab long bed and i drive it a little more often than the audi, and it has huge mirrors, then when i drive the audi i feel like those mirrors just suck (cause i always reverse park)...but other than that i love driving my audi.

why are you using ur rear view mirror to park !? take a second , turn your head around , prop your right hand on the passenger seats and park ! lol.
