I posted this on the A4 forum also. Just looking for people that have bought to get some sort of impression on them. So peak up and let me know! Did you not like having it modded? Did you want to mod it yourself? Do you think the higher price you paid is worth the mods it came with? Thanks in advance!!

I have a 6 speed 08 Stasis Touring A3. I like the overall balance and feel of the car. It's a tastefully modded car, and since this one is covered for the full 4yrs/50k, it was a nice option. As others have expressed already, my only other wish was that this was a 2.0 Quattro though...

    SJCS,

what if the one and only dealership in your area was not a STaSIS partnered dealership, and you needed regular service. Would that be a problem having the modded car with the warranty?

    Good question.
I just called my contact at the dealership and will let you know what he comes back with.

    Okay, according to my dealer:
Once a Stasis car is built and sold, it is entered into the Audi USA database as such.
If any service or warranty work needs to be performed on the car, even if the dealer is not a Stasis authorized installer, the work will still be honored due to the relationship between Audi and Stasis. You shouldn't have any trouble with any Audi dealer when it comes to the Stasis mods.
Hope this helps! They're great cars!

no, they're 2.0T, but the 2.0T is only available in FWD at the moment.

Re: Anyone purchased a STaSIS Challenge or Touring Edition A3?? X-post

Hi All. This is my first post on Audizine. I am looking to potentially purchase a Stasis A3 Challenge Edition. I'm encouraged by SJCS's comments in response to the question of what happens if a local dealer is not an "offical partner" with Stasis. I'm in Kansas City and we have only one Audi dealer and of course they aren't a partner.

I guess my question is if Audi USA and Stasis have an understanding, why does Stasis even bother with identifying "partnering dealers"? I don't want to split hairs but i'm very new to the modifying world and so having a dealer who will be able to address any potential service issues relating to either base car issues or mod issues is important.

Finally, any opinions on the "Touring vs. Challenge"? SJCS, what mad you go with the Touring?

Re: Anyone purchased a STaSIS Challenge or Touring Edition A3?? X-post

I think the Stasis partner dealers are established since all the Stasis upgrades are dealer installed, therefore requiring training, certification, etc. Just a guess.
My A3 is a daily driver, so I couldn't justify the extra dollars on the Alcon calipers and the diff. Plus, I prefer the 18's for daily driving vs the 19's.
