Is this an okay ground for the icelink?

Just wondering if this is a safe spot to ground the black wire from the icelink connection? Everything works so I'm thinking it's okay:

If not can someone direct me to a better screw or bolt to use (with a pic would be awesome). I'm not very knowledgeable with electronics so help a noob out.

i had a blitzsafe grounded like that for a while (6 months or so) and never had any problems. but if I was doing it again I would tap into a proper ground per Martini.

I really don't want to splice wires if I don't have to. Any one else have a suggestion?

Re: Is this an okay ground for the icelink?

i grounded it to the screws on the side of the "hole" after removing the HU. I was dumb enough not to ground it in my first installation try and couldn't figure out why my dice wasn't working as intended.

I'm about to do this install and don't want to splice wires either. So you don't get any group loop noise with the ground attached to the screw on the radio?

Update: I grounded my to a screw on the HU and it's working with no problems. I've only used it for about 45 minutes, though.
