Finally got around to getting my joey mod done....

Seeing as they were my second set of headlights, there was no rush to get them back on the car, but finally got around to working on them today.....all i need to do is seal them back up!

What do you guys think??





Im either going to be selling these or selling my S4 headlights, so if anyone is interested let me know....

That looks really good. Its tempting me to pick up an extra set of headlights and try it out. I don't know if i have the cahones to possibly throw away a couple hundred bucks though... Anyways,

thanks! i opted for gunmetal instead of black....and i didnt feel the need to keep the chrome on the blinker or the face of the projector.....i was actually contemplating not even leaving any for the brights....but i figured id just see what it looks like just in case....i think they turned out pretty good!

i think that i prefer the chrome around the projector myself, but they look really good!! do the lights get hot enough to require a high temp paint?
I may try this on my old ones at some point...

I like how you only left the high beam section chrome. it will make the car move aggresive i think

my car is light silver and these were the original headlights that were on my car when i bought it, and were just sitting in my basement after i bought a set of S4 headlights.....so one day i just got bored and decided to do the joey mod on them!

ill get a few pics of them on the car hopefully by the end of this weekend.....

Looks good. I dont know if painting all the chrome will bring about any draawbacks.....

I left mine chrome, but did paint the outer lip

they are my stock halogens, but my s4 headlights came with D1S hids, so im just going to swap them in i think.....

and i used a rubber silicone adhesive to put that back together, or rather, i am going to use that....im still working on getting the channels back into place, im kind of anal about it so its taking a while seeing as i cant work on it for too long at a time with my finals coming up and all!!

no, im only going to be selling the housings, and ill sell either the joey modded housings or my S4 housings...it depends on a few things, and which housings i can get more money for!

That is nice work. I think it would be badd-ass if the high beam was projector, too. Like the bigger projector lense of the ecodes would set it off nicely from the smaller one of the stock halogen for the low beam. Then doing it all in the same color would be sweet.
As it stands, I'm sold on the turn signal, but not as much on the low beam projector. I'd leave that chrome, but the more I look at it, the more I like it.
