    Re: Icelink to Armrest?

I can't find my thread with my install. (i'll keep looking...)
Basically the small pocket below the arm rest has a base plate that you pull out. that gives easy access to the console tunnel.

    1. While my head unit was out, I fed my ice link cable down through the console interior until it poked out the bottom of the console tunnel on the passenger side.

    2. Pull out all the slack.

    3. Feed the end of the cable up under the console tunnel at the pocket until you can grab it from the pocket opening.

    4. Tuck in any slack in the cable under the console tunnel.

    5. Route the cable into the arm rest through the access hole in the bottom.

    6. Drink a beer.

    Re: Icelink to Armrest?

the cover is there, but not in the correct position, it's sort of resting at the side. this is what the access looks like, see all the holes?

pulls straight up. no clips no fasteners, just good old gravity (and maybe some friction)

i just struck the blade of my pocket knife at the edge and pried it up. pops right out and goes right back in.

Thanks! I'm doing the install right now. you didn't remove the arm rest to route the wire easier?

i didn't route up into the arm rest. I left mine in the cubby beneath on a bracket I made.
