    The local Junk yard got a 1999 Audi A4 2.8 engine for $500.00. I have a 1997. Will the 99 engine fit in my 97? Will a little extra work have to be done to get it to fit?

    I think it should fit a little fabrication will have to be done but other than that its the same chassis. I found a 2.8 motor at my junkyard for 60 bucks with 90k on it.
