    Mirror Replacement

    Managed to hit a marker post this morning with my drivers side mirror...

    How much does a replacement mirror and upper shell cost? Is the dealer the way to go?

    What color is your car? My old shells are silver. I have both shells from my car available if you would like them. I replaced mine with the chrome ones.

    Thank for the response. I just picked up a mirror replacement from the stealership for $71 (I didn't realize that all B6 A4 mirrors were heated and some even have the expensive $250 anti-glare mirrors).

    The crack isn't too bad- so unless you're giving the housing away, it'll be just as cheap for me to bondo and paint my current on.

    I don't know how much I can get for them but I may just hang on to them. You never know when some screwy kids will knock into your side view mirrors.
