but the new one didnt come with a nav dvd....

Anyone that works at a service department know how the replacement unit comes???
I left my nav dvd at home and when i picked up the car the new unit didnt have a dvd in it. I asked the service manager where the dvd was he went and checked and came back and told me that there was no nav dvd in the original unit that they removed.

I find it hard to believe that the new unit comes without the nav dvd.... Anyone know how the unit comes when a dealer orders one in?

Nope, the dvds are for specific regions and are ordered separate.

hmm.. thanks.... guess i should have figured they'd be cheap like that.....

sooo now this new one, in night mode the screen has like a flicker to it... like it has a slow refresh rate or something? i dont think my old one was like that... its noticeable the most when there is something dark on the screen, like a menu or something or the map at night.... anyone else's do this??

don't think its supposed to do that....take it back and get another unit....

The dvd's are not region specific. One dvd covers North America (USA and Canada).

I have some available. PM if you interested in getting a navigation DVD.
