    Compression test result

    Hi all,

I finally did a compression test due to my situation here
    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=198299

the result came out pretty good i think.

    1st time, they are 195, 190, 195, 193, 192, 190
    2nd time, they are 197, 192, 200, 193, 193, 190

so i think my head gasket is in good shape as well as the valve stem seals?
however I talked to the auto part store guy, he said that even with a good compression test result it doesn't mean the valve stem seals are still in good shape. now im confused... i guess i will have a shop to do a leak down test?

    ^^ya,

You would have bent valves, and damaged piston's. Your fine.

I saw the wink at the end but im not sure if your being sarcastic or not, Even if you are i will correct you.

Yes you can damage a piston if your off a few teeth. If the valve is coming down at the same time as the piston going up then you will have a bent valve and dameged piston crown. I'm pretty sure you knew that but didnt want to get the OP confused. Heres a pic of a damaged piston from the valve coming down on it.
