Everything is installed!! The APR exhaust is INCREDIBLE...great exhst note!! The dyno results: 391HP and 381lb-ft. at the crank. I cant get over on how kick ass that exhst is!! The ride hight is perfect. Short shift is awesome! Next mod is a nice wheel set, probably mid-summer. then lastly, the headers will be ported. Im hearin' that could get another 60-80hp and TQ with new headers. I only have 1600 miles on it. I should get another 3%-5% more HP and TQ around 5k miles. Pics this weekend

These numbers are hard to believe. All you have is a full apr exhaust and a Carbonio CAI and ECU flash? That's and increase of 51HP and 79 ftlb over stock. Seems really high to me. Am I missing something here?

APR full exhaust (downpipes and catback) is probably going to get you 15-20 whp.

The 08 B7 S4 LB-Ft is wrong on the Audi stat page. audi quotes 302tq. my dyno came out to 327tq... a +25tq. But the HP was correct at 340 at the crank. an r8 dynoed after me with the same tq #'s. i am not bullshitten!! so i actually gained 54lb-ft tq and 51hp after all the mods. Wheel Hp was 288 and tq was 280.

Is this a 91/92 oct map? Appears to be pretty impressive. I have an appointment at Dubwerks (Suburb of Chicago) this Saturday for a GIAC install and thought I should ask for additional feedback.

288WHP after the mods correct?? That means that your stock S4 you claim was putting down 237WHP. which is impossible. A stock S4 will put down 250-260 to the wheels. Hence the 30ish+ upgrade from a full exhaust and ecu flash....which is normal.

Porting headers doesnt make sense...

Same thing as I plan on supercharging my muffler.

If you look at his WHP and WTQ, the numbers are believable, I don't know what he used to calculate his crank numbers. I thought his numbers should be better and would like to know the conditions and see the graph.

For comparisons sake. I put down 281whp and a little more tq. with just labree dp's and exhaust. I am putting straight pipes on next week and considering a giac or apr chip before a dyno day next sunday at USP. Anyone have any recommendations for which chip to get??

straight pipes? you sure your not going to lose a little HP by going straight and not having a little back pressure? i know there will be some back pressure from the dp's...wonder if its enough. be interesting to see a dyno with you going to straight pipes before you throw a chip on. my vote is for GIAC or REVO.

Ok, so this is not something I know for a solid fact, this is just something I was told by another S4 owner who had straight pipes:

It lost power. He dynoed before and dynoed after.

Now another disclaimer. I don't know this for a fact. So before you ask to see dynos, I'll tell you that I don't have any. But it does make sense! As b00st said, no back pressure. But try it out I'd love to see your results(dyno sheets) , and it sounds pretty intense.
