    Tire question

I recently bought some OZ Ultraleggeras (19x8" et35) and have 245/35/19 tires on them from Tire Rack. My car is lowered, not too much, but enough to cause rubbing. If I stiffen my suspension the rubbing only occurs on bigger bumps, but I'd like to daily drive on the softest suspension. Do you think changing to a 235/35/19 tire will eliminate the rubbing? I know some tires tend to be wider than others, I currently have Sumitomo HTR Z III tires if that helps at all.

    Re: Tire question

235/35/19 can't carry enough load to be safe for use on the car, sorry. Front axle is rated to carry 2,756 lbs., and the 235/35/19 (XL) can carry 1,356 at best.
