I have never tried it but from what I have seen in the thread below it does not seem hard at all especially if you car already has the multi fucntions already available you wont need the SC ring.

I did a last minute bid on ebay and ended up winning but after I won I noticed in the pic's it was for a tip I did not notice the paddle shifters on the pic's prior to bidding,so know I am trying to sell it so I can buy one without the paddle shifters.

Here is a description from a current ebay.de auction of a similar TT MKII wheel with paddle shift.

Das Lenkrad paßt in diverse aktuelle AUDI Modelle A 3, 4, 6, 8, S 3, 4, 6, 8, TT, Q7, A4 S4 Cabrio

Translation: The steering wheel works in many current Audi models...

So it would appear the mounting hub is the same. How you might hook this up is another matter. There is a writeup on nsxjr.com about putting a miltifunction wheel in an A6. I put mine in a B6 A4, so I can't be of a lot of help here.
