May I know how much of a discount is available now on B7 A4's considering B8 is coming out? I am thinking about getting a B7 A4 Quattro stick shift.

Well mine was 36,700 and we got it for 32,700. It has pretty much everything except s-line and nav and Sport Suspension. (Stick as well)

I purchased an 06 2.0 S-line Black on Black, with Convenience Package, and manual transmission for 23,300. They also gave me 1.99% interest and I got $500 rebate from Audi because my previous car was an Audi. It was certified pre-owned and had just been returned after a 2 year lease with 30K on it.

I wanted Quattro but they didn't have any on the lot and you know how it is when you see one you want. You've got to have it.

Sup bro, my advice would be to actually go slightly used. Not only will you get the same B8-argument discount, but you'll get that on a used car price. I just picked up an '06 A4 Quattro (tip, not manual) for around $27 that had 20k miles, same setup as WxGuy other than the trani, and also includes the 6yr./100k mile warranty and the 3M ClearBra.

I highly recommend gettin' that 3M ClearShield if your dealer offers it; with the fully painted front end, it's an absolute must. I actually put it on my financing for only $8 more per month, definitely worth it to me!

Also, I mentioend this in another post, but if you aren't going to be doing serious mods, go for the S-line to get something a little different than your base-line A4.

However, if you plan to mod your car, there is no reason to go for an S-line. The only things different on S-lines are 18 inch wheels, a slightly different front bumper, sport suspension, and then some badged trim pieces inside and out. Oh, and you get a special trunk lid for which almost no spoilers are fitted, woo hoo!

I got a non S-line and it's plenty agile handling-wise, plus if you get a sway bar or somethin' you'll be hugging those turns even more. I also personally love the dual-spoke 17's on mine, but the RS4 reps tops them all. Good luck with your buy!

Yeah, the clear bra is something i really need to get. The front of my car has tons of rock chips. I'm not sure if they can be touched up or i need to have the whole bumper repainted. If I put the clear bra on, I want the paint underneth it to be flawless.

Anyone have any ideas on pricing for a paint job?

I just bought an 08 A4 Quattro with oem suspension and ipod interface, roughly $2500 under sticker price. I'm pretty sure I could have haggled for more, but I was in a hurry to get the car.

As far as used..nah... might be good value but I don't trust any used Audis...no pun intended....LOL...

I wouldn't trust a regular used Audi, but I'd say if you just so happen to find the exact ride for yourself and its CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) you can be comfortable.

While the car I ended up getting had a dent on the trunk lid, it had every single option I wanted so I just negotiated with the dealer to fix any dings and scratches free or I wouldn't buy it. It won't be perfect, but it doesn't take long for any car to get the wear-and-tear going.

Mine was priced at around $40k...fully loaded with everything except for seat warmers and headlight washers, 6-speed Manual 2.0T Quattro...

Bought it for $37k...$200 over dealer invoice.

Look around ... for the 06 Audi ran a special on 2 year leases in order to get them leased so there was 3 or 5 sitting on the lot when I got mine
