    Mechanic needed...

Here's the scoop, I have a 97 AUdi A4 1.8T that needs Timing Belt replacement and Turbo replaced. I hired a local "AUDI" mechanic and purchased all the parts needed. After taking everything apart and taking some parts (intake manifold, MAF etc etc), the mechanic hasn't SHOWN his face and took off with some $$$ I've given for additional parts. Small claims court here I come.

I need help putting the car together - which is currently stuck inside my garage. I'm located in Hemet/San Jacinto, CA area (Riverside County).

If you can help me, please send me a pm here or email me at [email protected].

If the $$$ will be too much, I'm also considering parting the car. The latter will be my last option. The car is in perfect running condition before this incident.

    Thank you

    Re: Mechanic needed...

If you were on the east coast I would charge you about $300 in labor. With the front end apart the turbo is right there to replace.
