Re: lets talk about staggered fitment...

From what I have read on AWorld and here, the concern is with rolling wheel diameter. If the rolling diameter between the front and rear wheels are drastically different - you can run into issues with the center diff. Make sure you purchase tires from the same manufacturer, as specs can vary between brands.

so the next question is... if i go 235/40/18 in the front, how wide can i go in the back without rubbing on h&r sport springs?

    check this link out: http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

you also have to take into consideration the offset of your wheels - not just the width of he tires. this is what I'm running on my Avant : 255/30/20 on a 9.5 width rim @ ET 40mm. the offset just clears the outer fender and the inner suspension.

Re: lets talk about staggered fitment...

i had a staggered set of wheels for two years with no problems. i had the following setup: 19X8.5 and 19X9.5 with 235/35/19 and 265/30/19. But i do recommend using 19x8 and 19x9 if you don't have the wide body a6, my set had that stretched tire look. the car was dropped with the Eibach pro-kit

I have 4.2Q and presently shopping for tires, what would be the best setup for the same size wheels you have with a 35 offset?

Wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 offset is 35. Wheels are staggered, will I need spacer to push the wheels out? Not knowlegeable about offsets, got a great deal on the wheels I could not pass up.

I have a set of 19x8.5 and 19x10s with 35 offset all around on Eibach sport. If you like that look where the rear wheel is slightly out or just even with the fender (and a huge lip!) then go for it. I had 2 adults sitting in the back seat with no rubbing issue. I'll try to post some pics today to give you an idea.

Car looks great. I won't have to change the camber on mine since I have the4.2. Wheels should fit fine.

I love your car, can't wait to see the painted lowers.
BTW, doesn't your car understeer madly with this staggered setup?
