Yes they bolt right in if you have changed manifolds, intake and downpipes, oil and water lines.

So you don't modify the turbos, you modify the parts connecting to it.

Whe have to modify the wastegates .

Get rid of the flapper and have the wastegates holes welded up.

That is the only mod you need to make em fit in a kit...

Actually you need to modify the gates like Guru said also you need to add a reference line for boost in the comp housing and lastly you need to modify the compressor nozzle to except an aluminum 90... Theres know more or less work then doing a normal k04 install.

Ok I forgot those little things.

Why don't you use the internal wastegate? Don't you think that it wont flow enough?

You get more accurate boost control with externat, and they fit better

Correct, everyone has had internal gate troubles at 1 point or another with other kits... you cant beat the external gates

Troubles are comming as soon as you ask over 15psi with internal gates, it's hard to get a good boost control.

I know from a fact because I had them before on my S4.

You should always use these lines... Using the intake manifold is great for plumbing your boost gauge but for controlling boost its much better and safer to read it straight from the compressor cover, this is very important to do and thats why I plumb them there.. You want to always control the boost at the compressor housing and read it at the intake manifold.. Food for thought.

This turbo is way to big for your application unless you go single turbo.

    A hx35 is comparable to a gt35R [O_O]

What are you building, a Rocket ?

Can you post up some more info on this? Pictures? Don't the Holsets have like the classic T3 manifold? How do you make them work with our manifolds? And you say that the oil and coolant lines all bolt up fine? How far are you on the project? What are you planning to do for fueling and software? I am quite interested in this to see how it turns out.

If they have a t3 comp housing they can't and will not fit 100000000000000000%%%%%%%% the t3 comp housings don't even fit with my manis or most of the others

That's kind of what I thought too? I mean the T3 manis are lot bigger, and square vs round like the K03s right?

Re: How does the GT turbos need to be modified to fit?

The best person besides myself and a few others would be Guru to answer this.. He had one of the only gt2554 turbos on a stock mani and ask him how that worked out.. The cover on the gt2554 is about 30+% smaller then the T3, he was looking at the drivers side not the passenger side and once he puts the starter on then he will understand it could never happen...
